Appointments, transfers of senior officers

BY COMMAND of His Majesty Sultan Hj Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister’s Office has announced that His Majesty has consented for the appointments and transfers of several senior officers.

In the Prime Minister’s Office, Adi Shamsul Hj Sabli, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (IT and E-Government) has been appointed as Permanent Secretary (Industry).

Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Pg Datin Shazainah Pg Dato Paduka Shariffuddin has been transferred to the Prime Minister's Office, as Permanent Secretary (International).

Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to ASEAN in Jakarta, Indonesia, Emaleen Abdul Rahman Teo, has been appointed as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Meanwhile, Datin Paduka Dr Hjh Norlila Dato Paduka Hj Jalil, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health has been transferred to Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as Permanent Secretary at the ministry.

Hj Zakaria Hj Serudin, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance has been transferred to Ministry of Health as permanent secretary.

The Director General of Economic Planning and Development at the Prime Minister’s Office Dr Hjh May Fa’ezah Hj Ahmad Arifin has been appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary (Economy and Finance).

The Director of E-Government National Centre, Prime Minister’s Office, Muhd Nor Shafiee Dato Paduka Hj Jalil, has been appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary (IT, E-Government and Industry) in the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Head of Energy Services Business Development at the Prime Minister’s Office, Hj Mohd Azmi Hj Mohd Hanifah, has been appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary (Energy and Industry) in the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Director of Planning, Development and Research in the Ministry of Education, Dr Hazri Hj Kifle has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health.

The date of appointments and transfers of the said officers is effective today (Tuesday, November 3).
