NDP welcomes the latest development of the Peace Talks between the GPH and MILF
Limbaruh Hijau, 8 October 2012 - The National Deveopment Party (NDP) of Brunei Darussalam welcomes the latest development of the Peace Talks between the GPH and MILF which was just concluded in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 7th October 2012 in Kuala Lumpur.
In a brief statement the president of NDP, Sdra. Mahmud Morshidi Othman hopes that the result of the latest Drafted Framework Agreement signed by the MILF and GPH Chief Panels will be fully observed by both parties with sincerity in the name of peaceful co-existence.
NDP and the people of Brunei pray for the realization of the framework agreement expected to be signed by both parties in Manila soon.
Sdra Morshidi stated, “the suffering of the Bangsamoro people must be ended as soon as possible as it is heart-rending to witness more than a hundred thousand deaths and a further hundred thousands of displaced people in the evacuation centres.”
NDP hopes that ASEAN as a grouping will play a greater role in support of this peace process in the region.
